Last night the phone calls and text messages started to fly about . Vera has decided to start winding everyone up early.
He called by my house today for a coffee and here are some of his one liners.
"Sinky never beats me - never ! "
"Sinky needs 36 points to beat me - fucking no chance "
"He will never get 36 points round Ladybank"
"Sinky on a tight course will be lucky to get 30 points"
"His drivings shite"
"The trophy is mine already"
"The rest are all just shite"
"Stevie Paul will go to the wrong club and then try and use his Lenzie club card to gain entry"
"Stevie is way out of it and he's lucky to be even in the last game with a player like me "
"I know that Stevie will is not capable of getting within 6 shots of me - end of story"
"He's no in ma class it's that simple"
"He has been chasing me all season and will never catch me "
"Brian just doesn't have ma experience plus he's from Crow Wood"
"I have been in this position before and have years of experience "
"I don't like saying it but I just see them crumbling with the pressure of playing against me"
"None of them will catch me"
