Things didn't look to good on our way down the M74 as the rain battered down. As we drove into the car park it became a drizzle and by the time we started it was more or less off. What a cracking day it turned out to be.

Top Golfer of the day was Jim Cullen with a fantastic score of 40 points which was great shooting on one of the toughest courses in the UK. Great to see Jim win yesterday and as I pointed out he has went from our first spoon winner of the season to shooting the best round of this years Tour with 40 points. The previous best this season was 36 points by 5 other players.

He was closely followed by Neil Keir with 38 points which I would have said before the start should comfortably win the day but Jim had other ideas. Well done Neil and that score rockets you up the leader board into pole position for the Tour.

In third place Graham Dickie with 35 points and also bagging a nearest the pin made it a successful day for him.

In the sweep Jim won with 40 points and Neil with 35 (38-3 for winning before) second. Graham with 35 was third as he had a worst back 9 than Neil.

We will have a new DONKEY OF THE WINTER this year as Jamie Carroll has only played 1 round this year and with only 3 rounds left can't get his 5 rounds in.

Things are very tight at the top and all to play for. There are at least 14 players all capable of winning and it will be very interesting on the final day at Ladybank.
