Chalmers Sunday Pumping!!!

Yes guys I know.

Its about time you guys paid me back for all these comments I have left about you.

There is always a smart arse in a group and since Danny is the computer buff he has decided its payback time - after hacking Roberts account.

CHALMERS GETS LASHED BY SUPERMAN!!!!!!!!

Superman JC added another scalp to his wonderful run of form by pumping Roberto and Sciitty (sorry scott)

On a Sunny day in Drumoig yesterday the Cillen boy took the golfing world by storm with a magnificent 8 and 6 victory over Robert and Scott.

THE REAL SCORE WAS 2 AND 1 NOT THAT PISH ABOVE from RC and SK !!!!

Roberto put this down to a dodgy knee whereas Scott pulled the sciatica card!!

Anway congratulations to SUPERMAN once again.

I hope to see you all at Powfoot guys but after this wonderful addition to the site I am not holding my breath in being allowed to go.

Oh before you go! JOHN CARSLAW --HEE HAW!!!

ENJOY!!

DRUMOIG RESULTS

Sunday 27th February

Another very good day for golf at Drumoig and yesterday was our 7th round of the winter tour.

Finishing with a great total of 41 points was Neil and that haul of points saw him get clear in the overall leader board by 8 points.
Neil was followed by Spoon Winner just 4 weeks ago Jim Wylie which again shows that sometimes you need to be a the bottom of the pile one week in order to get a kick up the backside and go on to win.
We have had 3 Spoon Winners this winter also win a round as well.

In third place was Andrew Alexander with 38 points beating Craig Chalmers on count back (21-19).

Also scoring well yesterday were Brian Newall and Alex Smart with 37 points each.

Humping of the Day goes to David Stirling and John Carslaw who were well and truly rogered 8/7 by Peter Ritchie and Alex Smart. Thats the second time this season Peter has been involved in giving somebody a jolly good pumping????

SUPERMAN

JIM CULLEN IS.............SUPERMAN

Today at the club I was put under severe pressure by members of the Tour to give JC a bit more publicity with regards his superb victory last week.

When I say members it was actually 1 member - JC himself. He feels he has not had enough coverage for his 40 point seasons best and if he had won the spoon there would have been pages of him holding the spoon aloft.

So here we are Jim another wee post just for you.

In case anyone didn't know, had been out the country on holiday, missed the National News on tv last Sunday night or just forgot about this earth shattering event our Jim went from being a Spoon winner earlier in the Tour to shooting this seasons best score for 18 holes with his incredible performance at Southerness.

I don't know what was more pain full watching the Old Firm match today or listening to Jim describe how he got 39 points for just 15 holes before he ruptured the ligaments in his shoulder, elbow and wrist ???? as he bravely fought on to the finish.
What a load of pish he was lifting pints of beer okay this afternoon and showed no sign of injuries. Jim I would put the photo of you collecting your winnings on the site but I have deleted your moment of glory tho I still have the one of you collecting the spoon. I don't think it would be fair to post that again as that is in the past and you currently have another week as a Round Champion before normal service resumes.

A foot note to todays action at the club was that big brother Geraldo has made a £20 bet with wee brother Jim that he will have a better points total at the end of the Tour. That's a tough one to call and Jim has already won a similar bet earlier in the season with Gerry so it's game on with the Cullen Boys.
Both today have ruled themselves out of scoring well next week due family parties, women and alcohol consumption on the Saturday night before.
Could one of the Cullens become our first 3 time winner of the spoon ????
Is Jim going to go from FUD TO CHAMPION AND BACK TO FUD in consecutive matches ????

All joking aside well done Jim a great round of golf and another one like that could see you atop of the leader board this time next week.

Dunbar Links 16th February

CRAIG SCORES AT THE BEACH

Yesterday Gordon ,Alex, Craig and me went back over to Dunbar so Craig could have another practice round before he goes back to school. When we got there we decided to delay our tee time as it was pissing down. The result of this was that Sinky and Smarty decided to have a large breakfast consisting of soup with a roll and a very large pie beans and chips. They then wondered why they couldn't swing a club all day.

We had to eventually go out and for 11 holes the rain never stopped.
Team Chalmers HUMPED the PIE BOYS 6-5 and that was the actual score not a kid on one.

The humping was mainly down to Craig who had a fantastic round shooting 69 to finish 2 under par.

He was 3 under playing 17 when he got his first bogey of the day. If a few putts had dropped he could easily have been 4/5 under and some pretty horrid conditions made it even more impressive.

The weather cleared up and by the last few even some sunshine.

Scores for the rest were Gordon 23 points,Alex 22 and me 31. Great course in great condition well worth £29 and £15 for juniors. Will hopefully get a few more rounds of practice on it before April.
Craig was the Golfer of the day shot 69
to finish 2 under par.
Rain made no difference to Craig's
golf.

SCOTT'S SUNDAY HUMPING RITUAL CONTINUES.

VICTORY ON THE GOLF COURSE BUT.........STILL PUMPED ON SUNDAY !!!

After the roasting he got from me because of his humping at Elie I was asked by Scott to point out on the web site that he and his partner won their match convincingly this weekend. I think he said 5/4 or 3/2 but I no longer believe what any of you say with regards scores after Stevie Paul's bullshit 2 weeks ago.

Anyway Scott seems you are a good golfer so well done on your victory. You are lurking in the back ground with some solid scores and might be one to watch.

Sadly tho I have to report to the Hackers that once again on a Sunday you got HUMPED, PUMPED AND DUMPED. This time on returning to the club.

No we did not have a swimming competition across the Alma but Scott got rodgered by the best dressed Hacker Danny "£300" Totten at pool. Danny never went to Southerness this weekend but spent all day on the pool table waiting for Scott to return.

As the picture above shows Scott had all his balls left to play with!!!!!

All joking aside thanks for arranging our game on Southerness Scott I am sure the guys will all want to return next year. Best food of the Winter Tour so far this year. A GREAT course in good condition.

RAIN WHAT RAIN ????

ALWAYS LISTEN TO THE MET OFFICE.

On Saturday night it was touch and go to wether we should head down the M74 or not but the forecast was for rain to stop before mid day so the decision was made at 5 pm - we were going. I am glad we did as the forecast was spot on and the afternoon just got better as the day went on. The photos below are taken by Gordon just before prize giving and they show just how good it had became.
It doesn't get any better for a game of golf in Scotland during February.

Graham Stewart, David Wylie and Gerry Cullen.

Ian Ross, Graham Stewart and the Cullen Gang.

Crowwood Boys Neil and Ian.

Ian"fuck your spoon" Hutchinson on the far
left before the dummy fell out. Davy Graham, Robert "one leg" Chalmers
and Davy Stirling.

A further note to this match was that Davy G and me with one leg HUMPED David Stirling and GREETIN FACE 3-2. No wonder he was huffing and puffing.

LOOK NO CLUBS

WHO NEEDS CLUBS

From the photos below we can see that
a fair amount of time was spent walking
around with no clubs looking for balls.
Elite Squad player Ian "one putt" Ross
is a wee bit off line. Hands in his pockets-
no clubs visible.
Ian Ross again along with Stevie Mac - look still no clubs.
Stevie still out for a walk with -
no clubs. How did you manage to
get 34 points with no clubs or balls.
From the above photos you seemed to have spent your
time on the course looking for them.
Guess who ????
I thought he was away home.

RESULTS

Things didn't look to good on our way down the M74 as the rain battered down. As we drove into the car park it became a drizzle and by the time we started it was more or less off. What a cracking day it turned out to be.

Top Golfer of the day was Jim Cullen with a fantastic score of 40 points which was great shooting on one of the toughest courses in the UK. Great to see Jim win yesterday and as I pointed out he has went from our first spoon winner of the season to shooting the best round of this years Tour with 40 points. The previous best this season was 36 points by 5 other players.

He was closely followed by Neil Keir with 38 points which I would have said before the start should comfortably win the day but Jim had other ideas. Well done Neil and that score rockets you up the leader board into pole position for the Tour.

In third place Graham Dickie with 35 points and also bagging a nearest the pin made it a successful day for him.

In the sweep Jim won with 40 points and Neil with 35 (38-3 for winning before) second. Graham with 35 was third as he had a worst back 9 than Neil.

We will have a new DONKEY OF THE WINTER this year as Jamie Carroll has only played 1 round this year and with only 3 rounds left can't get his 5 rounds in.

Things are very tight at the top and all to play for. There are at least 14 players all capable of winning and it will be very interesting on the final day at Ladybank.

Pictures to follow soon and updates for Drumoig.

Next round is Full with 32 players and a reserve list.

DUNBAR 11TH FEBUARY

This years Scottish Boys is held at Dunbar in April and yesterday Craig, his mate Robbie and myself went over for a practice round. We are back this Wednesday for another round before the boys go back to school as it is their last chance to play it before April.

It was the best I have been on this winter and was in mint condition for this time of the year. Greens were just superb and fast even in February and I think they would be like lightning in the summer with big rolling slopes very tricky and 3 putts galore.

Staff were very friendly and they allowed the boys to play of the back tees as that will be where the Championship will be off.

The course didn't have one puddle on it and for £29 and £15 for the boys it was great value. Unfortunately you can only play Monday- Friday on it as the don't allow visitors out to late on at weekends and there is not enough daylight. If you can get a day off mid week it's well worth the money.

Took about a hour and a half from Lenzie to get there.

My golf was okay but with only 9 points on the front 9 I thought the Spoon had my name on it already this Sunday but things improved on the back nine to finish with 26 points. That was my first full 18 holes of golf in 16 weeks and I was tired at the end. The knee stiff and sore but not any worse and this morning is the same as it was before yesterday.

Craig played okay and he had 3- 2s at the par 3s along with a birdie at a par 5 got him to 3 under at one stage before dropping in the water on 2 occasions. These were caused by not knowing he could reach a burn off his drive and then cutting a blind corner which on the other side was the sea. So playing these rounds and making notes will help him in April. He unfortunately finished with 3 bogeys and walked off 3 over for the round.

It would be great to play at the weekend and I might contact them to see if they would take a large booking in the winter for next years Tour. I doubt it but you don't ask you will never get.

Alison and Laura were through for the day with us and afterwards we made a 1 mile detour off the A1 to have dinner at The Longniddry Inn a restaurant we often visit when playing in that area. Food is first class with huge portions and great value.
