Yesterday 12 of us went back to play Whitekirk as Gordon had bought 3 - 4 ball vouchers from the Daily Golf Deal. We got a 4 ball for £50.00 which is just £12.50 each and that included a score saver worth £3.50 !! Great value.
The course was in great condition unlike the hard frozen surface we got in December. It was breezy and cold but very sunny and as the round went on the wind did lessen slightly.
The Hackers current leader Paul James once again took the money and Spoon winner a few weeks ago George Leadbitter took second place. We had no player hitting the green on the first par 3 so it was a roll over and Craig hit his tee shot to 2 feet and win the cash.
Paul insisted we give a silver tee spoon from the resturant to the lowest points total and the winner was Gerry with just 24 points.
