The Hackers Matchplay Championship will run through this summer from April.
The draw will be done at Ladybank after the prizegiving.
Players can enter now till Saturday 23rd March.
Email or text me ASAP if you want entered into the draw.
We would like to have 32 players for the first round.
Entry fee will be £5.00 per player.
Prizes are based on 32 players entering.
1st £80 and Matchplay Trophy. (maybe somebody will sponsor a small trophy ?)
2nd £50
3rd £30
April rd 1 32 players
May rd 2 16 players
June rd 3 8 players
August semi final
September Grand Final (At a neutral venue if possible)
The Final will also have a match for 3rd place from the 2 losers in the semi.
After each round a new draw will be done with the remaining players.
The first name in each tie will play the match at his own home course.
We currently have players from the following courses
Cawder
Lenzie
Crowwood
Kilsyth
Carnwarth
Pollock
East Renfrewshire
It is the responsibility of each player to organise their ties and play them before the next round. Each member will be able to organise their respective match's for very little cost by paying a member guest rate for their opponent. It is up to each player to sort out the cost on the day.
Once your match is complete contact me with the result and I will post it on the site.
The draw for each round will also be posted on the site and the draw will be done by 2 members.
THIS COMPETITION CAN ONLY WORK IF EVERYONE MAKES A EFFORT TO PLAY THEIR RESPECTIVE TIES ON TIME.
