FANTASTIC DAY FOR GOLF

DRUMOIG 2011

LEADER BOARD AFTER 7 ROUNDS

Neil Keir with good scores in the last 2 rounds (79 points) has now got a bit of a lead at the top.
It is far from over but I would say there are possibly only 5 or 6 players now capable of winning overall.
The next round at Powfoot is very important for players in the top 6 as they have to increase their total by bettering their worst score by as much as possible.

Neil is the man they need to chase down and hope he doesn't improve his total anymore.

Andrew Alexander will not make Powfoot and now at the Ladybank Final will need to get rid of a very weak 5th round total (23 points). If Andrew was to get 38 points at Ladybank he would improve his total by 15 giving him 177 total which is 3 more than Neil has just now.

First prize will not be determined until the last round unless Neil has another 40 pointer next week !!!!. The places for 2nd and 3rd overall will also be a close thing.

At the rear end again a few players in the 3/4 rounds need to be taken into account for the donkey prize along with Danny,Kenny and George. The 3 Johns ( Hamilton, Carslaw, Cumming) are going to jump into the running for this prize as they complete their 5 rounds unless they start scoring bags of points. The donkey prize will go right to the wire.

Players best 5 rounds total with their worst 5th score.
