A BRUTAL TEST OF GOLF THAT COULD HAVE BEEN A LOT WORSE IF THE RAIN HAD STAYED ON LONGER THAN THE 1 HOUR IT DID.
On Sunday we had one of our toughest days ever on a golf course. It is certainly one of the windiest we have ever had on any Tour event.
With the winds gusting to 45mph plus at time it made a hard golf course just about unplayable. Nevertheless everyone stuck in and we all got round and the dinner at the Dunvegan tasted even better after our 4 hours in the biting wind and rain.
The winner on the day was Dodi with a very good 32 points in the wild conditions and he was followed by myself with 31 points. Alex Smart beat Ian Fox on count back to take 3rd place with 26 points.
Dodi and myself won the nearest the pins and the SPPON was won for a 3rd time by Davie Revie.
