Results from Rosemount 26th September
Yesterday we had a fantastic day at Blairgowrie playing the Rosemount course in perfect conditions. The weather was just incredible for this time of the year and even with our late start (2.10pm) we were able to play most of the way in short sleeves.
The course was in immaculate condition and we all had a superb days golf on one of Scotlands best inland courses.
25 players played (some better than others)
The results were as follows
1st Billy Gibson 39 points
2nd Scott Kennedy 35 points (bih)
3rd Ian Baird 35 points

THE SPOON MALKY HANNAH 24 points
The spoon was decided on count back as Stevie McPherson and Malky both had 24 points but on count back Stevie had 11 points and Malky 10.
Unfortunately Gerry Cullen the defending Spoon Champion forgot to bring the 5 foot spoon with him so we had to present Malcolm with a small silver one. We will give him a special presentation prior to starting our next match.
Our next match is at Lundin Links which is actually the picture at the top of the site. That was last year and we got fantastic weather there in November 09. October the 24th is the start of our Winter Tour and we have 25 names already for Lundin with 24 deposits paid. I managed to get a extra tee time to give us 28 places so I have 3 places remaining.

Some Spoon Winners Last Year
The prize that everyone wants to avoid at each outing THE SPOON. To remind everyone of what it looks like have a look at some of last years winners. This is a prize that anyone is capable of winning - even Stevie " I will never win that spoon" Paul. You haven't won it yet Stevie but when you do you will regret that prediction.

Rosemount this Sunday.
First tee time is 2.18pm. There are 24 playing.
Plan is to leave Lenzie Golf Club between 11.30 and 11.45.
Meet at Lenzie and we can sort out cars etc.
Coffee and roll and bacon on arrival and a main course afterwards.
Weather to be dry but cold

Last Years Final
Last years Tour went down to the wire with 4/5 people all capable of winning and in the end Davy Graham came out on top.

Best 5 rounds scores from 8/9 played
Full Handicap Stableford
Sweep to be £2.00 each
Money split between the best 3 scores as follows
1st £25.00, 2nd £15.00, 3rd £8.00
Nearest the pin is £1.00 each.
The £1.00 is split into 2 holes (50p at each one).
Winnings will be £12.00 at the nominated par 3s
The Rules of Golf must be adhered to at all times.
The best 14 players prior to our match against the
Elite team in March will be picked.
