FALKIRK CANCELLED

FALKIRK CACELLED THIS SUNDAY

Morning All

I have spoke to the Pro at Falkirk today and the course is currently closed.It hasn't been open for a week and a half.

The weather is to get milder but very wet especially Friday and Sunday.

Also with all the snow and ice to melt he says that the course at best might only have a tempory few holes open. 

The first 3 will be closed as they will be saturated so we would be starting at the 4th and 12,15 ,13 also be possibly off. 

He thinks that most of the course will be unplayable due to all the surface water there is going to be. It will definetly all be winter greens if any.

He said it might be closed still on Sunday due to the expected amount of rain and all the snow that will be melting between now and then.

He says we would be far better cancelling and re scheduling for February.

So we have made the decision to cancel this Sundays round and it will be booked for 22nd of February if they can take us then.

I know it's a bit early cancelling but the Pro was being honest with us and this allows you all to maybe arrange your own golf at the weekend tho the weather forecast I think will make it difficult to get a full round in locally.

I will update the web site with any changes etc

How quickly time passes.

There certainly is a few changes in both of us.

The photos above were taken in Florida on the Bardmoor Golf Course in June 2005 and January 2015.

For the last 3 or 4 years Craig only comes over to Florida once a year with us (December/January) so we don't get to play very often together now over in the Sunshine State.

Sunday the 25th is round 5 of this years Tour. There is a breakfast included in the deal so The White Chimney Boys don't have to go a 2 hour drive for their grub before playing. I would get there sharp for your food and then the draw at 10.40
