ALEX WINS RD 3 WITH 36 POINTS

The winner of round 3 this winter was Alex Smart. This was Alex's second win this season following up from his earlier win at Drumoig. This has been a very good start to the Tour for Alex and once I have entered the scores onto the spread sheet I think he will be the Tour leader as we go into the Christmas round.

In second place was Ian Baird with 36 points and a back 9 of 22  also  but Alex had more points on the last 6 holes.

In third place was David Graham with 34 points and he beat Gordon Sinclair and Brian Murphy on count back.

Nearest the pins were Gordon and Craig Weir.

SPOON BOY was Graham Dickie with 19 points. This was Grahams 4th time winning the Spoon and is now tied as joint King Spoony along with Geraldo. Another SPOON and he can become the BIG CHIEF SPOONY on his own.

No pressure now Graham !!!!

Why ??

Spoon was in Sinky's car !!

Why was it not presented ??

Because Sinky locked his keys with the Spoon inside his car and was stranded at Whitekirk !!

How do I know all this ??

Because he phoned me to rescue him.

I was just in from a 65 mile Sunday ride with the cycling club when he tracked me down.

"Oh thank fuck your home from your cycling "

"I'm stuck at Whitekirk ma keys are in the boot "

"Ma spare keys are in my bedroom "

AND ????

You can guess the rest.

I had a round trip of 3 hours to rescue him and the Cullen Boys.

SINKY -  "Thanks for this I'm really sorry about having to get you come away over here."

GERALDO -  " What the fuck kept you"

JIM  - "For fucksake did you need to arrive so quick I was hoping to get a few more scoops in before you got here."

So Graham missed getting the SPOON but with him being a 3 time winner there is plenty of him and the Spoon available on the web site so I can move one to a new post. Watch this space.
